Tip of the Day: Painted and stenciled floors are a thrifty décor solution for high-traffic areas. You can paint over concrete floors, any sort of wood floor you’d rather not refinish. Maybe for the laundry room or bathroom.
Painting faux brinks on to concrete using a sponge cut into the shape of a brick and red wood stain. This would be a great way to make a herringbone pattern on our back porch. I could use any color of stain darker than our current porch.
