i could live in a house like this for the rest of my life and be happy with the people that accompany me.

this is it if it is on the water Love any yard idea that avoids having to be mowed! This is a great idea to break a yard/outdoor space up.

Great transition to new addition and like deck floor/ceiling/stone wall and slate top combo

Front Porch: Again, seals the deal - no banister. Stone water table, wood porch and white (lots of upkeep - think coastal house) painted? Be consistent with wood stain colors.

All-American Home

A white picket fence, blooming garden, covered front porch and American flag.all in my dreams!

Like the shed roof here over the porch, and the nice window above. Also, good idea of raised stone beds in front, to hide the concrete foundation. This stone "wall" is nice grounding for the house.

There are very, very few projects left in our house and I would say that the following one is maybe one of the biggest ones. We’re thinking of adding a garage to the back of our property. Cue excitement and gut wrenching terror. We have a laneway, and two parking spaces outback where we can park. But because of Canadian winters (S-N-O-W) and, needing some extra storage space, we’ve been contemplating maximizing our space, and building something out back. But because I’m crazy, and artsy…

building a garage....maybe

Shingles, wrap around porch, sun room. I love this little house. It is a little more detailed than many but so cute for a guest cottage!
