Fantasia, as you probably know, was an animated Disney film set to classical music. One must admire the juxtaposition of a scene featuring hippos and ostriches dancing to a song from an opera set during the Inquisition.

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah James Baskett (1904–1948) was an American actor known for his portrayal of Uncle Remus, singing the song "Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah" in the 1946 Disney feature film Song of the South. In recognition of his warm portrayal of the famous black storyteller he was given an Honorary Academy Award, making him the very first male performer of African descent to receive an Oscar.

Fantasia - Deleted Scene: Clair De Lune    Every time I rediscover this, I watch it multiple times in a row with my mouth hanging slightly open. I wish they would have left this in the final cut.
