Busto del emperador Claudio encontrado en la Basílica de Otricoli en 1779 y restaurada por Gaspare Sibilla. El busto representa al emperador Claudio luciendo la corona cívica y debe haber pertenecido a una estatua sedente del sobrino y emperador Calígula (37-41 d.C.). La reutilización de la cabeza se debe a la “damnatio memoriae” que sufrió Calígula y puede ser detectada en las pequeñas proporciones de la cara comparada con el cuello y la presencia de un doble flequillo en la frente.
