Michael Timothy 'Mick' Abrahams 7/4/43, Luton, Bedfordshire, guitarist & band leader, the original guitarist for Tull. He played on the album This Was recorded by Jethro Tull 1968. Conflicts between Abrahams & Ian Anderson over the musical direction of the band led Abrahams to leave once the album was finished. He wanted to pursue a more blues/rock direction, while Anderson wanted more folk & jazz influences.
