Colt Single Action Army .45 caliber, 7 ½ inch barrel, original blue and case color finish; one-piece grips, all matching numbers, circa 1883. Condition: Bore is very strong with minor pin prick oxidation, surface is smooth aged gun metal with touches of blue, grips were lightly checkered long ago and have worn down from use; the safety notch on the hammer is chipped otherwise excellent mechanically.

Colt Single Action Army .45 caliber, 7 ½ inch barrel, originally nickel, all matching, one-piece ivory grips, circa 1876. This revolver was probably shipped blued to Hartley and Graham. They would have added the ivory grips and had the revolver nickeled. No letter supports this.
