Jaques Barraband painted birds from dead, preserved specimens brought back by the explorer/naturalist Francoise Le Valliant in the late I have a book with some of his work, it's incredible seeing it large and up close.
Print Club London – Cockatoo by Hannah O'Hare Another piece with some really beautiful line work. The textures look incredible, the drawing is rendered in an amazing way, and the pop of chartreuse really gives the bird an exotic feel.
