I love the color and pattern of the spots on these little saxifrage (Saxifraga bronchialis) flowers. Each flower is about in diameter. This specimen is growing in the native plant garden on the University of Montana campus.

Orange Sparaxis

This is the original, wild color for Sparaxis -- orange, with a yellow throat, and a black band between the yellow and the orange. However, this isn't the only color of Sparaxis growing in my garden!
