A lacquered wood two-case inro By Kanshosai Toyo, 19th century Formed of tagasayan wood, lacquered to one side with two seated hares in shibuichi takamakie, the reverse showing the full moon in usuji gin ko-nashiji above bracken and grasses of hiramakie, signed Toyo with kao; with a kagamibuta, the shakudo plate inlaid with a seated hare dressed in a coat, in gold and silver takazogan, signed Ryumin with kao.
