Stone Barns in Swaledale, Yorkshire, England | by Marcus Reeves

Stone Barns in Swaledale, Yorkshire with stone fence. Can you imagine how many stones this took. done by hand? how long did it take? (just like my little stone house)

Stone walkway. Path leading off into the distance.

Slaters Bridge in Little Langdale is one of the English Lake District national parks iconic views. It’s an old stone packhorse bridge in a lovely setting which took slate miners over the River Brathay on their return to Langdale after a hard day’s work

Yorkshire. England

England ~ Sherlock Holmes, the Moors, all kinds of exciting mysterious images come to my mind when I think of Yorkshire. I've always dreamed of visiting there, preferably staying in a spooky old mansion, or better yet a castle!
