Explore Alaska Summer, Summer Sun, and more!

Skagway, Alaska

Skagway was nicer than Juneau and, although it had the same souvenir shops, there was a much more 'frontier' feeling about the place.

Whittier, Alaska. Getting to this small town is half the fun! You must drive through a long one-way railroad tunnel at the designated time to avoid running into oncoming traffic or a train. Once there you can take the fantastic 26 Glacier cruise through Prince William Sound.

Falling in love with Alaskan art. shopping at the Fred Meyer and being amazed at how much stuff they had in one store and how expensive everything was.
