I think I was first read this one when I was in preschool.  I always thought the little boy had the oddest coat with that pointy-pointy hood.  Most of the time, I had to enjoy the snow vicariously through his adventures since it is so warm here, but I got some good snow angels and footprint trails in my childhood too.
