Species & hybrids are 6-12" high, with yellow, pink, white or violet flowers. It spreads slowly, in Zones 4-8. It needs moisture to get established, but once established, it tolerates drought. Mostly evergreen foliage helps prevent weeds in spring; cut ragged leaves off.
