She was born on March 9, 1872, in Louis County, Missouri, weighing seven and a half pounds at birth and grew normally until she was 9.  She died of pneumonia at the age of 40 and was extremely self-conscience of her size 24 feet until her death.

Fedor Jeftichew (1868 - 1904) was a Russian known as 'Jo-Jo The Dog Faced Boy'. He had hypertrichosis, which caused long hair all over his body.  His father also had the condition and they were in the sideshow together.  After his father's death, he became employed by P.T. Barnum.  He customarily wore a Russian soldier's uniform and saber.  At times he acted quiet and dignified and others he barked and growled at the audience.  He died of pneumonia at age 35.
