The skeleton of Charles Byrne (who went by the name of O'Brien) and died in 1783 at the age of 22. O'Brien was 8ft. 4in. in height. He lived in Charing Cross, London until his death, said to have been due to excessive drinking. The tiny skeleton on the left of the picture is Caroline Cachami, nicknamed the Sicilian Dwarf. She was exhibited in London in 1824 and died at the age of nine, never having grown since birth.
