Ah, if only all editorial design could take such a daringly beautiful leap forward.  Last year, the German newspaper, Die Welt, published a special edition promoting the work of the American painter, Ellsworth Kelly, who was being feted with two exhibitions in Munich.  Across all the paper’s sections, images were limited only to Kelly’s highly photogenic, monochromatic abstractions. Mildly brilliant.
