The Leatherback Sea Turtle Dermochelys coriacea sometimes called the lute turtle, is the largest of all living turtles and is the fourth largest modern reptile behind three crocodilians.

Eastern or Highlands Bongos (Tragelaphus eurycerus ssp. isaaci) are listed as Critically Endangered due to poaching, with as few as 75 animals remaining in small groups of in their Kenyan upland range.
