SPICED CRAB APPLES Crab Apples, whole 3 C Water 3 C Sugar 1 C Red Wine Vinegar 1 C Red Hot Cinnamon Candies 1 Cinnamon Stick 1 Tsp Whole Cloves 1 Tsp Red Food Coloring, optional Pack Apples as tightly as possible into a 1/2 gallon jar. Put remaining ingredients into sauce pan,over medium heat, stir til Candies are dissolved. Bring the mixture to a boil. Pour boiling Juice over the Apples til covered and cap tightly. Cool, store in the refrigerator as the jar may not seal.
