Senbazuru, 1000 Paper Cranes Legend. -- Project Senbazuru is an artistic response to the disaster situation in Japan. This project takes inspiration from Japanese legend, where the folding of one thousand origami paper cranes is said to grant a wish such as recovery from illness or injury. In the midst of loss, fear, and uncertainty, this illustration is meant to promote hope and renewed prosperity.
