Empire State Building, Manhattan, New York City, USA. The skyscraper is an Art Deco structure and is New York's most popular landmark. It was constructed during Great Depression and was at the time, the tallest building in the world.

The Art deco style is epitomised by the top of the Chrysler building, the idea of grand scale, with the building towering over the rest of the city. The rounded edges with triangle windows are a great depiction of Art deco as a whole.
