Chicka Chicka Boom Boom is a great book to teach students the alphabet and what the capital letters look like as well. They would be able to make their own Chicka Chicka Boom Boom trees.

seasons tree, science and art project...although...for Hawaii, the tree would look pretty much the same for all 4 seasons lol...could add rain to winter for our "rainy season" and whales to Fall, Winter, and Spring for our "whale season" ha ha

Materials Needed:  hands to trace!   thick card stock   acrylic paint   brushes   Mod Podge   pre-painted (acrylic) background of a tree on a pre-stretched canvas or a wood board (similar to the ones I make for all of my school projects- go here to see "How to make your own WOOD CANVAS").

do on small plates for dot day Collaborative HAND ART project. Could be done with a classroom of students. Or make it a family project and have children collect one hand print design from each family member, then put them together for a family tree.
