I’ve been on a journey to get healthy since June of I made the decision to change six months before my birthday. I was determined to change my lifestyle and my life.

Like a boss

I don't cancel meetings with other people. I respect their time, and I sure as hell respect mine. I make a daily meeting with myself; sometimes at the gym, sometimes from my tread desk, and sometimes at the park. I never miss meetings with myself.

As I begin my journey to rebuild my core, this is where I am today.  Tomorrow will be a little better.

So I'm the last person to say that having sore muscles doesn't feel satisfying, but good workouts don't always HAVE to make you sore. Sore muscles just means your muscles were exposed to a stress greater than it's used to. Trying to make yourself sore all of the time reduces the ability for muscles to recover and can lead to strains and tears.
