Designed by Catherine Walker, Diana wore this pale blue lace and beaded gown several times. Lot #18, Diana first wore this dress in February 1987 in Portugal for a banquet following their 4 day tour. She also wore it in November 1987 on a visit to Qatar. It then had a high neck and long sleeves. She wore it in 1987 for dinner in Munich. In March 1989 she wore it in London. by then it was altered to strapless with a short train. In 1990 it was also worn in Nigeria. The dress raised $ 36,800.
