American Beautyberry homemade mosquito repellent recipe ~ I pretty much chopped up leaves and stems and boil in a pot. Let cool and strain the liquid into blender, about 1 1/2 c. In a separate pot warm some organic neem oil (1 c) with 1 ounce of beeswax until melted. Then turn the blender on and pour in the oil mixture very slowly and it becomes a cream. I have to say hands down the best insect repellent ever & lasts all day!
