Vini e Vecchi Sapori Via dei Magazzini 3r, 50100 Florence, Italy 055-293-045 Book early to avoid missing out on one of Italy's best restaurants. A family owned and operated restaurant with friendly, attentive service, great wine selection, and a menu full of fantastic authentic Italian cuisine. I recommend you try the duck parpadelle. It is delicious. This would be one of the best dining experiences I have ever had.

il Santo Bevitore: cross one of the bridges over the Arno in Florence and head to the small side streets. Amazing place off the beaten tourist path; Italian food with a global twist, seared tuna, an antipasto bar, order a half litre of vino, you get the bottle and pay for what you drink. Food, service, ambiance - the whole package, leaves you feeling like a savvy local!
