Not necessarily a control tower, although it could be. I love the visual style of the piece.

A quieter district for the more wealthy, somewhere on the planet Corulag where Xaneel is from. (upper city by *SebastianWagner on deviantART)

Totally unrecognizable hardscrabble scene. Park St. (today's "Mosco") looking toward Mott from between Baxter and Mulberry. (It's hard to see Mulberry crossing ahead, but the "federal" style house not facing this street is 31 Mulberry. Black Horse Tavern at 30 Mulberry barely visible past it. All of this block is part of the park, now). Only two buildings left today are the stone church on the left, and the larger 21 Mott to the right of it.

Five Points, New York I just went on a promotional tour of this area which is now where all the court houses and government buildings are in Lower New York. Imagine living there!
