OMA | Philip Morris Marlboro Expo 2009

In occasion of the Philip Morris Marlboro exhibition at Philip Morris headquarters in Lausanne we designed and engineered 7 pop up areas and their promotion stands. Starting from the sketches of the famous agency Leo Burnett we have developed the concept, designed the structures and coordinated the construction and mounting.

1. The F1 Marlboro Barcode: Following the banning of tobacco advertising at many country’s F1 racing events, Marlboro decided to get creative with their sponsorship of Ferrari. For a time, the Ferrari F1 car prominently featured what appeared to be a red, black and white barcode. However, when zooming around the track, the ‘barcode’ blurred, becoming very suggestive of the famous Marlboro logo. | www.eklectica.in
