@maidecolnet wanted to inject traditional English charm into her French home. After a visit to our @neptuneparis store, it was love at first sight for our Shaker-style Suffolk kitchen. “I always wanted a kitchen where I could watch over the boys and for it to be the heart of our home, and this is it.” Drawing on childhood memories of cooking with her mother around an Aga, Maï chose to forgo a central island in favour of a single wall of fitted cabinetry and a double-door Suffolk larder, creating an open, welcoming space where her four boys could play.

Borough, a marble-topped freestanding island, makes for a showstopping centrepiece and practical work surface in any style of kitchen.
