What if we did a concrete counter, and then did the front of the bar with slats from wine barrels? It would look more rustic / comfortable / pacific northwest with that type of wood on the front than this bar, which while cool feels too sterile for you guys. My point is I like the way the lines are horizontal along the face of the bar. Also note the chalkboard element behind the bar.
