This is the one minute version of my upcoming mini documentary 'Listen, Imagine, Create'. This very short documentary talks about the art of sound engineering through the words of Tim Alicino, an italian but South Africa based sound engineer. I decided to cut a shorter version of 'Listen, Imagine, Create' because I wanted to do something different from a trailer or a teaser and because I was inspired by the awesome series 'One Minute Wonder' you can check out here…

Viral video for Mimmo De Paola's campaign to become mayor of Bari, a south Italy city. The inspiration comes from crime dramas produced in Italy in the Seventies, so we tried to give the video a vintage 'grainy' look. The music is inspired by some music track off from cult movies like 'Shaft' or similar. Edited with Final Cut Pro X Grading. customized 'Vintage' preset from MLooks, Filmconvert

Here it is the black and white version of the video you can watch here https://vimeo.com/121652963 . This is a video I shot the last time I went to Milan with my brand new Panasonic GH4 and a cheap Olympus 14-42. Nothing more than a test of my new camera and I also had the chance to grade the video with Magic Bullet Looks and the new tool Magic Bullet Film.

I'm thinking about buying a Panasonic GH4 so I did some tests on some ungraded footage provided by Neumann Films. You can find the clips here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8kwMWb2KPB4

When Cinema Camera was released, Blackmagic delivered some footages to give filmmakers and video editors the chance to make some tests on them. I did some color grading tests using Davinci Resolve (I used it to convert .dng in pro res too), Filmconvert and Magic Bullet Looks (no presets).
