Groseilles & CO: Marché de Noël...

View from River Mountain: Popsicle Stick Pencil Cup

Popsicle stick pencil holder

Popsicle stick pencil holder (no step-by-step) {I use PVA (polyvinyl acetate) or white wood glue as we call it here, it’s the best for wood and dries transparent. The tubes were held together with sticky tape not glue. Just lay 16 sticks side by side and use 3 pieces of sticky tape to hold them together, the larger tube has 18 sticks. The base and small tube uses 9.5 cm sticks and the large tube uses 11.5 cm sticks. }

Turn and old jar into a colourful pencil holder or vase. Simply glue a strip of paper around your jar (the popsicle sticks hold better to the paper than the jar), then glue your coloured popsicle sticks around the jar (I did a rainbow pattern but you can do any colours you like). Then for the finishing touch, tie a ribbon or some lace around it in a bow. This is a really easy craft, that looks good and is great for kids!
