Karstic landscapes in Sabina: Roccantica Catino

"sinkholes", the most spectacular Sabine limestone hills karst forms.In the case of the medieval village of Catino these forms have been exploited by man as settlement and natural defense spots, in the case of the "Revotano" in Roccantica, they have penetrated into the popular legend, as scary black holes in the middle of a "sea" of woods.
