European riveted mail hauberk, detall view, second half of the tenth century to about 1038 from Ostrow Lednicki, Poland, the full hauberk is about 10 kg. Found at the abutment of the bridge Poznan. Despite the different theories as to whether the wire is round or flattened, alternating solid and or all riveted, without a thorough analysis carried out by museum curators this fact can not be ascertained, a close look shows some rivets.
