Some reasons why # I stay at home
“Some reasons why #I stay at home” collects the 99 illustrations that I drew and published daily on social networks during the quarantine of Covid-19. Now I realize that, published in a limited edition book, beyond its artistic value, it acquires a documentary character with which we can read and remember an unusual and extraordinary historical (and unrepeatable, I hope) period.

L'installazione realizzata in Piazza Risorgimento a Seregno trasforma il vuoto vetrato del lucernario in un pieno di significato: in un dono, anzi, ne "il dono più grande". Il titolo gioca, evidentemente, con il significato del termine "grande" laddove l'aggettivo si riferisce sia alla scala dell'oggetto, (un enorme regalo natalizio) che alla qualità del suo contenuto. E qual è il dono più grande del Natale, il suo messaggio rivoluzionario (religioso o laico che sia) se non quello dell'amore?

L'amore non fa rumore
Reworking accepted trademarks and messages I've subverted their meaning: the ordinariness of the logo of a famous brand of petrol, “Esso”, is transformed into the extraordinariness of an emotion, “Love”. Similarly, the “Barilla” logo is transformed into the Italian word for Christmas, “Natale”.
