This is my current favorite. 1787 Sq ft. Great house! Efficient use of space (no hallways=no wasted space) great passive solar design with large low windows to catch winter sun and eaves to block hot summer sun. I would extend eves over the side with the main entry and create a covered porch, wood stove instead of FP. Add garage with entry through utility/laundry. Check out version 2 with carport.
Floor area: 2002 sq ft Building area: 2296 sq ft Bedrooms: 3 Bathrooms: 2 Floors: 1 Height: 16′ 5″ Width: 64′ 4″ Depth: 40′ 4″
I would switch kitchen and living room around. I don't get why they put kitchen in back w/ view. house design
