In the center is goddess Makosh. Makosh was among seven most important deities in Slavic pantheon in Rus' before it was christianised mentioned in the Tale of Bygone Years chronicle. After Christianity she was linked to Paraskeva Pyatnitsa. Makosh is goddess of spinning and fertility linked to Friday. She is a well known deity and common in folk arts in eastern Slavic countries.
