These leftover bits of floss are often referred to as Old Ratty Threads (or ORTs, for short), and newer stitchers often ask what they're "supposed" to be doing with them. As is always the case in hand embroidery, there aren't any "rules" for what to do with these leftover bits of floss. In this post, I share a few ideas for what you might do with them!
