Small owl

I was browsing through some of my photos from 2009 and was drawn back to the day I had a great photoshoot with a bunch of owls. This was definitely my favourite owl of the day. With the skies outside a leaden grey and the trees being shaken to their roots by another winter storm that has just rolled in from the Atlantic, it good to turn thoughts back to some more benign conditions of the summer.
