In 1964, a group of Detroit Beatle-haters started a "Stamp Out The Beatles" campaign. On their tour through America, George was presented with one of their sweatshirts and "the quietly ironic Beatle" threw it on. Asked about the campaign at a press conference, George joked back, "We've got a plan to stamp out Detroit." 🤪 Photo of George wearing his “Stamp Out The Beatles” sweater during a recording session for Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band in early 1967 🎶 Sup Girl, Beatles Vintage, Beatles George Harrison, Beatles George, Paul Weller, Beatles Pictures, Beatles Photos, Sweet Lord, John Lennon Paul Mccartney
