This is the first of a few images of the grey seal pups taken from behind the fence at the viewing area at Donna Nook. I was disappointed to have not achieve front-to-back focus here, especially at 12mm (18mm effective), however this pup caught me a little off guard by taking quite an interest in my camera. I do like the impact that the sharp eyes have relative to the soft nose though. Wide angle wildlife photography is quite challenging, so I am happy with this as a start but feel it could…
