An intimate, family-run performance venue nestled in the French Quarter, Preservation Hall has showcased live traditional jazz in New Orleans—and attracted musicians and aficionados from everywhere—for the past 50 years. In celebration of its golden anniversary, the hall shares a sampling of tracks, capturing early recordings from Sweet Emma Barrett and the original house band of the 60s, as well as collaborations with Jim James and Louis Armstrong.
