The pictured beanies were knitted using 3.25mm needles and 4 ply 50% cotton 50% acrylic wool and therefore the pattern and overall sizing reflects this. Use of different sized needles will most likely result in a slight difference in overall size

HATS OF HOPE as I like to think of it...they provide a fashionable and personalized moment for these tiny little miracles but they are functional as well and provide the parents with a measure of joy with each size at how well they are doing! It is truly my honor and privilege to be able to give parents of these tiny babies hope! My daughter has two sets of twins and they were all born preemies weighing less than 3 lbs.... Through trial and error for them I was able to get the sizing just right and I always felt as they "graduated" to that next size...it was such a gift of light! They were why I started making the Preemie sizes and I absolutely love making them for all the babies!
