this is such a fun and simple activity to do with your little one!

You need:
- paper towel
- markers
- pencil
- glue (optional)
- container
- water
- pippette

Science Explained:
Tissue absorbs water. So when the worm gets water on it, it sucks it in which makes it expand and appear to be growing.

💫 What’s the science behind this experiment? 💫
Paper towels are mostly made of cellulose, a material that loves water. When you add water, the cellulose fibres soak it up through capillary action, causing the paper towel to expand.

Capillary action allows the colors from the markers to walk across the paper towel to form a rainbow .

Tips to make this experiment successful-
1. Use only washable i.e water soluble color markers , permanent markers will not work
2. Color the ends very nicely for it to work
3. Keep the water cups closer to each other
4. Take only half length if paper , it makes the rainbow faster

SHARE if with your friends because this science experiment is going to amaze your kids !!
