Battlegrounds tavern board for Hearthstone! Winter 2022. Probably the most fun I've had painting a board!

The Load Screen of the game was intended to make the player feel as though they are walking into a friendly tavern at the end of a long day. This piece in conjunction with the Blizzard logo/tavern sign below helps to set the mood right from the beginning.

Card backs are a feature which allows players to replace the standard design on the reverse of their cards with alternate designs. In order to be used, card backs must first be obtained. Some card backs are available for players to obtain on an ongoing basis, while others are only available for a limited period. Hearthstone Logo

This is the Scholomance board I made for Hearthstone: Scholomance Academy expansion. It was an honour to be able to work on this board!

We have all heard the expression: "Some come easy, some come hard". Well this particular logo was one of the most enjoyable logos to work on, bar none. At every stage it felt as though I could throw my stylus at the Wacom screen and whatever happened would just "work". I'm not sure if it was the spirit of my patron Loa moving through me, or if it was a case of the right idea at the right time, but I wish they all flowed like this one...
