Cinematic extreme closeup photography

Using extreme close-up shot in your movies allows the viewer to enter the character's intimate space, revealing certain characteristics and emotions that would otherwise go unnoticed from afar. Also, it identifies a moment of extreme importance to the story.

This still film shot using 'Extreme close up' and using 'Shallow depth of field' is a very clever technique. Using the reflection of the persons eyes shows the audience what they are looking at, why they are coming across in that way through emotion.
