The Virtual Art Room on Instagram: "Year 2 Clay Cacti. We made the cactus leaves with clay and stamp markers. This project turned into a bit of a collating nightmare, as each child made multiple leaves. These had to be bisque fired, returned to the child for underglazing and then back into the kiln for a glaze fire. Keeping the leaves in groups as they went in and out of the kiln was an ordeal I failed to foresee. Lucky they turned out so cute. . . . #clayforkids #kidsart…

We reviewed the order of the colors of the 🌈 and also learned how to make the secondary colors by mixing the primary to create our beads. Can we really have an 80’s themed art show without rainbows? Show of hands: who owned that iconic rainbow Trapper Keeper?! ALSO, last image showed the surface we built our rainbows on! Thanks again, Autumn!"
