In a lot of ways, blood clots were just the beginning for me. Shortly after I was diagnosed with DVT and PE, I was also diagnosed with antiphospholipid syndrome, or APS, an autoimmune condition in which your blood clots abnormally. Here is how I live with an illness that will never go away.
