GENT'S WHITE LEATHER PANTS, ENGLAND, 1800-1825 Heavy white deerskin with four button broad fall front, legs tight and shaped to ankles with vent and tape ties, four shell buttons at knees for boot straps, (minor stains) excellent.
Beautiful hunting coat, and leather breeches made for wearing inside riding boots. The waistcoat is beautiful, made from late 18th century silk.
The Garrick Coat is recognized as the ancestor of the trench coat. This is from the 19th century.
A beaver skin Militia Officer's Chapeau De Bras, circa 1800 to 1820. Felt hat with gold bullion border. Sides of hat tied to crown with thin-ribboned thread. Black leather fan cockade with raised American eagle and a 4" gold bullion strand connecting to area of hat void of a brass button. Interior of hat presents partial brown patent leather sweatband and complete brown glazed cotton liner.
