Adolfo Natalini was born in Pistoia in 1941. After his experience as a painter, (which is still reflected in his constant use of drawings in his profession as architect), he graduated in architecture at Florence University in 1966 and founded Superstudio, (with Cristiano Toraldo di Francia, Gian Piero Frassinelli, Roberto and Alessandro Magris), which gave birth to the so called “radical architecture”, one of the most important avant-garde movements of the sixties and seventies.
