The 28/95 hp Mercedes was built in 1914/15 and again between 1920 and 1924. At that time it was the flagship model of Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft. Its engine shared significant design features with the Daimler aircraft engines. The 28/95 hp model was the first Mercedes to be equipped as standard with a pointed radiator grille and external exhaust pipes. This poster advertised the 28/95 hp model in the Phaeton version of 1921.
